So, why did you start this blog?
Well, I have two other sites, TheGratitudeCircle.net – which has been around for nearly 4 years and DeannaCollins.com which is about a year old. The Gratitude Circle was started for my collection of jewelry that I designed and created called, The Gratitude Jewelry Collection. I am also a life coach and blog about gratitude, inspiration and motivation. I help women connect to their passion and purpose to live a life full of abundant gratitude and positive possibility. I help them move from frustrated and stuck to productive, vibrant, and thriving.
At DeannaCollins.com I blog for women in business. I’m a social media/marketing junkie so as a Social Marketing Empowerment Strategist, I empower women in business to connect to their story, their passion, and their authenticity and help them to find ways to create opportunities through the unlimited power and potential of social media to grow their businesses.
Having said all of that, my husband and I were away in January for our annual getaway weekend to our favorite B&B in Kennebunkport, Maine and I had an idea. Well, if you know me you might be laughing – because I’m the queen of ideas…but being away from it all and having time to reflect, I felt that it was time for me to create my own personal blog – separate from the other two.
I had a vision to create a space where I could share everything that I love and appreciate. People are always asking me for recommendations, where we go, what we do and on and on.
I’m a raving fan of a lot of things. I love to gush about things that I love (can you tell?) so I thought it was a perfect opportunity to create this blog.
I hope readers enjoy their time here, walk away with some valuable thoughts, ideas, and insight. Most of all, I want them to walk away feeling inspired and appreciating even the smallest things in life. If that happens, my vision and mission are complete!
So I hope everyone enjoys their time here!
Tell us a little about yourself…
Well, I’m bold and strong and some might say I can be a little sassy. People have often said that my charismatic nature and positive attitude are wildly contagious.
I’m an eternal optimist, but only through a wonderful journey of personal growth and development. It hasn’t been easy, but my positive attitude has helped me through many difficult trials in life.
I am passionate about things I believe in. Passion is incredibly important to me. I need to connect to and believe in things.
I love to speak and fill a room with my energy – speaking about topics and things that I am really passionate about.
I love my daughter like crazy and her name is Faith for a reason. She’s a little bit of me and a little bit of her dad.
I am married to the most amazing man who I met while in high school. He’s my everything and I can’t remember life without him.
I love to inspire people. If someone walks away from me with a smile – it makes me happy.
I love random acts of kindness and all things gratitude. Oh, and most people who just meet me have a hard time believing it, but I’m a bit of a football fanatic, but more on that later.
In the meantime…
Live Life Like You Mean It!
